Carla Kimball's Presence Blogs
Presence isn't something that we pull out
of the closet and don for a special occasion. It's a way of
being and a practice that we cultivate in every aspect of
our lives. When we live a life committed to presence in our
everyday activities, we are then much more able to have presence
at those times when we are feeling especially nervous or fearful.
When we are in presence, we are much more relaxed and available
to ourselves, have more access to our content, and are more
connected with our audience. This state of being is an absolutely
key, but often overlooked, quality for effective leadership.
With
this in mind, I'd like to share with you two very special
blogs (an article
blog and a
daily photography blog) that focus on bringing
more presence into our lives. Quite honestly, these blogs
have become a way of life for me, and, in the case of the
photography blog, it is a daily presence practice that continuously
focuses my attention on the present moment.
My hope is that in sharing my photos and articles with visitors
to my blogs, you will find ways to create a rich life of presence
for for yourself.
Please take a moment to visit each of my blogs and if you
feel inspired to keep up with them regularly, subscribe to
the RSS feed in each so that you will receive notice of each
entry when it is posted.
